COVER REVEAL – Bookmarked for Murder (Mystery Bookshop Mystery Series #5)

I suck at cover reveals. Usually, I’m so excited when I see my latest book covers that I immediately start emailing it to my friends and family and plaster it on all of my social media pages. This time, was a little different. I may have emailed my family and a couple of friends and I might have even posted to one small, private Facebook group of trusted friends (old habits die hard). However, rather than plastering to every social media site I can, I posted the cover to my newsletter first. Didn’t get the newsletter? Add your name to the “Sign Up”  option on the side of the page near the bottom.

The fifth cover in my Mystery Bookshop Mystery Series, BOOKMARKED FOR MURDER will release in late November 2019 and is available for preorder. I absolutely love this cover and hope you will love it too.

Each time I see one of these covers, I think, “this is my favorite.” However, this cover is really my favorite. The Kensington Art Department does a great job, and I absolutely love my illustrator, Mary Ann Lasher. I know some authors that provide a lot of guidance and direction on their covers. Unfortunately, covers and titles are not my strong suit. Each time I submit a book, my editor asks for my cover ideas. If he could see me, he would probably be concerned by the deer in the headlights look that comes over my face. Basically, I mention a few of the key elements from the book and say, “good luck!” Thankfully, they have read into my soul and captured exactly what I would want, if I were an artist and knew what I wanted. Although, using my dogs on the cover is generally enough to win my heart each and every time. So, I hope you love the cover as much as I do. If so, leave a comment with your thoughts. If not, leave a comment with your thoughts anyway (I’m pretty simple).
