“When the kid in the movie said, “I see dead people,” Marti’s first reaction was join the club, followed quickly by don’t let them drug you—it only makes it worse.”
Marti Mickkleson can see and speak to the dead. In fact, she sees them all the time. No one believed her except her great-grandmother. The only problem with that is Grandma Berti died twenty-four hours before Marti was born. Her father, The Judge, as she and her sister refer to him, finally becomes a believer. Unfortunately, he too is now dead. Believing he was murdered, he talks Marti into returning home and finding out who killed him.
Ghosts in Glass Houses is a great paranormal cozy mystery with an interesting cast of characters, both dead and alive. Kay Charles creates a sleuth who is snarky with a sharp wit and a keen eye for details. This book kept me engaged and entertained. The plot moves along well maintains a good pace. I enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys humorous cozies. It releases from Amazon on September 5, 2017, but is available for pre-order now.
